Matilai Is A 23ft Outrage ‘Walk Around’ Sportfisher That Is Powered By A Yamaha 200HP Engine. She Will Comfortably Take 3 Anglers, And Is Ideal For Bottom Fishing, Mangrove Trips, And Light Line Trolling.

She is fully licensed by the Kenya Maritime Authority, fully insured and is equipped with Furuno depth sounder, VHF radio, Shimano and Penn International fishing tackle. Very light tackle is available on request.

WHAT TO HUNT FOR

Common fish species in the area are Wahoo, Kingfish, Sailfish, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, Giant Trevally, Bonito and Skipjack Tuna. The Tuna fish is known to hang around dolphins which makes it very easy to hunt for. The Dolphins are protected and should not be victims in the fishing experience. Deep sea fishing is a great excursion to tackle for those who want to fish out for the big fish. Big game fishing helps in hunting the fish that look out for food further away from the shore. For one to be sport fishing, then at least a 30m deep drive is important. Most small fish hide near reefs since their food which is small fish species are found there.

Payment terms

•  60 days prior to the departure date booking can be made with 30% advance.
•  Between 40-59 days, booking shall be confirmed only against 50% advance.
• Less than 39-15 days, booking shall be confirmed only against 100% advance.
•  Balance payment, if any, against all bookings shall have to be paid between 39-15 days before the start of tour.
